From a dream in 1993 to a reality in 2020, our incredible team of entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists, chemists, designers and marketers are working tirelessly to introduce GumTab to the world.
GumTab founders, Adam Lee and Brent Pugh, learned first hand by working in the restaurant and hospitality industry that people are careless in how they dispose of chewing gum. Walking into a restaurant you will see gum that has been spit out onto the sidewalk or street. When seated at a restaurant you will see gum that has been stuck to the bottom of the table, under the chairs or benches and on the floor. If you have not seen gum in these areas, it is because of an employee who has stayed late to clean it up or because a gum cleaning company has been hired to clean it up (using harmful chemicals and costing thousands of dollars annually). Improperly disposed gum exposes employees to the viruses and bacteria that are present on chewing gum, and it costs an average of $1 to clean up a single piece of gum.
It is time for a responsible alternative to gum disposal...the solution is the GumTab.
